Tess Levy April 22, 2021 There are few destinations more desirable than a beach along the Mediterranean Sea. The magnificent blue waves, white sand and upbeat energy of Tel Aviv’s beaches are unmatched. What’s even better about the coastal options in Israel is the variety and unique features that each of the beaches offers. I was in Tel Aviv for a trade show and again i returned to the Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach The warm hospitality and great service by the staff combined with the best beachfront location with all the activities on the waterfront promenade, yet still in the city. Also not far from the great restaurants and activities at the Namal (The Port).
5. Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach. This is a very standard Crowne Plaza hotel in Tel Aviv. Pleasant and clean but not noteworthy, except for the views of the beach from the room, which really are quite special. The executive lounge is very good here for a Crowne Plaza with excellent food and a generous volume of food too.
5 nights in Jerusalem; 2 nights in the Dead Sea; 3 nights in Tel Aviv; 4 nights in the Galilee, with a stop to Caesarea on the way. If you have 10 days, this is a good rough itinerary: 4 nights in Jerusalem, with a day trip to the Masada and the Dead Sea; 3 nights in Tel Aviv; 3 nights in Galilee. For shorter trips, I recommend only focusing on
Lahat Promenade (Herbert Samuel St.) - The main promenade in Tel Aviv, leading from Gordon beach to Aviv beach. The promenade was built in 1939 as a narrow promenade, elevated above sea level. In the 1980s it was demolished in preparation for reconstruction. In 1982, the first section was opened for public.
The direct drive between Tiberias and Tel Aviv via Highway 6 is 140 kilometers and should have a drive time of two hours, depending on the traffic. Tiberias is the gateway to the Sea of Galilee, and that's where you should be heading first when arriving by public transport.
