Hey what's up Youtube it's xero here and in todays video I am going to go over a step by step guide to getting your first town. Hopefully this helps you guys
In Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, there are six different cultures to choose from. Each of these six different cultures offer you two passive perks and one passive debuff that will follow you throughout the game. You need to make sure you choose the best culture to adhere to because there is no option to alter this choice after the game starts. Dyeworks in every town. Just steady income. Takes some time to pay off, but once you get some extra money, put it here. Begin with the cities with which you don't plan to have a war soon, otherwise, your income will be arrested and never pay off. :) Get towns. One town gives you around 10 thousand a week, two towns yield around 15 thousand. IMO there's not enough game in legit trading to make it fun and it's very at odds with the constant warfar and high rewards of battle. I like trading like in VC "I go to the wine place and buy wine and sell it at not the wine place, profit, I buy all the jewelry at the jewelry place and sell it at not-the-jewelry place, profit, repeat a few time, there now I can start to play the game!
If you're smithing, you need to run a family member as the leader of a companion party and gift them all the crafted weapons, they sell them all in one go for a better price than you and you can easily rack up 500k+ dinars a day in income. Idk if they balanced it but this used to be THE way to make money.
Strip the garrison to a skeleton force until you make some profit. As a side benefit being a very lightly defended fief, makes it a target for your enemies, and as it doesn't have a lot of troops, they (often) won't bother making a big army to take it. YLphb.
